Chewie Fettuccine has been developed for Miniarogecko chahoua. Finding a combination of flavors that could please chahoua, which are notoriously the more skittish of the Rhacodactylus complex, Leapin Leachie added more calcium as they lay eggs with a thick calcium matrix and females tend to “crash” after few clutches.
Protein levels are kept higher as chahoua feed more on invertebrate (and possibly small lizards too) than on fruits.
Leapin Leachie rotates Chewie Fettuccine with Leachie Lasagna and Rhaco Risotto to offer variety with lower protein and fat content, above all in winter.
Due to the higher calcium content, this formula is useful for all fruit and nectar species that lay hard shelled eggs, like day geckos and Ailuronyx species.
